What is Easy Street?
Easy Street is a rehabilitation program at Misericordia Health Centre for people having difficulty with everyday living skills due to a life-impacting health change such as a brain injury, stroke or long COVID. Working with our team, clients identify goals to increase their independence and perform activities like dressing, walking, banking, shopping, taking the bus and driving a power wheelchair.

How is Easy Street unique?
We use an interprofessional team approach that includes a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist, a social worker and a dietitian. Clients work with the team to achieve their physical, emotional, cognitive and social goals.

Clients usually attend once or twice a week in a treatment environment that simulates a mini-community that allows them to practice skills and overcome obstacles in a realistic setting.

Where can you find us?
Easy Street is located on the first floor of the Misericordia Health Centre parkade building on the east side of Sherbrook Avenue.
