Transitional Care Unit
Misericordia Health Centre’s 111-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU) serves clients who require an extended recovery time and restorative care following an acute-care medical or surgical admission. TCU clients receive complex therapeutic, nursing and allied health support for a limited period of time with a focus on discharge planning at the time of admission.
