Programs

Misericordia Health Centre serves Manitobans through a variety of care streams:

• Acute Care is where a patient receives active but short-term treatment for a serious or distressing injury or illness. For example, our Eye Care Centre of Excellence and Sleep Disorder Centre are acute care programs.
• Clinical Services range from Diagnostic Imaging (e.g. X-rays) to Spiritual Health to Social Work to Recreation and so much more.
• Long-Term Care, such as our PRIME health centre for seniors, encompasses programs to help people live as independently and safely as possible.
• Our Provincial Health Contact Centre is an internationally- recognized contact centre supporting health and social service delivery through 22 telephone-based programs.
