Social work is a helping profession that promotes emotional, physical and psychosocial health. Social workers at Misericordia Health Centre are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities. Social workers are involved in both long-term care, including transitional care and Misericordia Place, as well as acute care, serving our Eye Care Centre of Excellence, Easy Street rehabilitation, MHC for Lungs and ambulatory care.
