Pediatric Dental Surgery
If children age two to six have cavities in their primary teeth, their ability to eat, sleep and speak is dramatically affected without timely treatment.
Misericordia began performing pediatric dental restoration in 2005, in response to lengthy wait times for treatments in Manitoba. Today, we perform more than 800 procedures a year on an outpatient basis.
Our caring and knowledgeable staff help children and their families through the operative experience which ultimately improves the child’s quality of life.
If your child is scheduled for dental surgery at MHC and you have a question about the surgery, please call our pre-operative assessment clinic at 204-788-8531.
Information on caring for children after pediatric dental surgery will be provided at the Health Centre and is also available to view online in English and French.
